Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union is proud to announce the official launch of “Operation : Cooperation”, a project that recognizes groups of all sizes in Washington State who exemplify the Cooperative Spirit by coming together, sharing a resource and making good things happen. Groups are asked to submit a creative project that explains the work they do. Creative projects can be songs, videos, written poems, or just about any form of creative expression. Four groups will receive Cooperative Spirit awards in four different categories, along with cash donations for their respective causes. Do you know a group who is doing good work in your community and should be recognized? Send them to www.opcoop.coop. Deadline for submissions is November 10, 2009.
