As someone who has coached football there has never been a greater joy to see the kids who smile, play and learn this game of football they so badly yearn. I have had my ups and downs although I am the chosen one I can’t frown, but I continue to learn and play with these kids everyday. I have taken this responsibility to be the chosen one to care for protect these kids of mine because at the end of the day who else will care for the down harted who will care for the abused who will care for the lost ones no one will just me the chosen one. Now if the gang members want to beat me down for protecting my kids let them break my bones because I have to stand up for the lost ones because I am the chosen one. I have to let them know they will never be lost cause I have not thrown them away nor will I there are no limits to my care cause I am the chosen one for Limits like fears are often just an illusion….
How do you come together and share a resource?
The sole purpose of of CAPCA is to provide a safe place for student athletes ages 6 – 14 who have a desire to play and participate in football and cheer. Our program objective and mission is to teach the fundamentals of football and cheer while promoting education, discipline, team work and building self – esteem in a fun environment.
CAPCA’s hopes are to make a difference in our youth and future leaders lives. The benefit we get is knowing that we are giving youth of all social and economic backgrounds the opportunity to learn lessons of self – worth, character, fair play sportsmanship, discipline, team sprit, hard work and unity.
How would your group use the award money?
If we our organization won the money it would go torwards our tutoring program and will be used as scholarship funds for familys who desire their children to participate in football or cheer who can’t afford the fees that allow us to offer these services. Also it will be used to continue to send our vollunteer coaches to training on how to work with and discourage our youth to joining destructive gangs. Also the funds would go to purchasing equipment that kids are not able to afford for example shoulder pads, helmets cleats etc….

Putting the time in to help shape young minds is a wonderful gift to have. and a even greater one to act upon. Big ups to all those involved in the best way with these young minds at heart. They are a huge part of our community and we want to keep them mentally, physically, and socially well(as much as possible) and this is one way to do it constructivly.
Peace to all in the struggle,
